President Donald Trump of the United States has declared that he has ordered two nuclear submarines close to Russia. According to Trump, it is in response to the “inflammatory” comments made about the war in Ukraine by Dmitry Medvedev. Furthermore, Medvedev was the former president of the country and is the current deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council.
Reason for the Action
Trump’s decision followed the recent threats made against the United States by Mr Medvedev, an ally of President Vladimir Putin. In response to the ultimatum, Mr Medvedev warned Mr Trump against playing the time game with Russia. Additionally, he stated that the country is not Iran and Israel, and every threat made by the United States is a step towards war between the two nuclear powers.

According to credible reports, President Trump said, “I have ordered two Nuclear Submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions…” Furthermore, he said, “… just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than just that.”
Even though President Trump’s actions may just be cautionary, nevertheless, he is not leaving any stone untouched. Medvedev Outlandish Threat
According to multiple sources, Medvedev is angry, saying, “Trump’s playing the ultimatum game with Russia: 50 days or 10. He further reminded Trump of 2 things: 1. Russia isn’t Israel or even Iran. 2. Each new ultimatum is a threat and a step towards war. Not between Russia and Ukraine, but with his own country. Don’t go down the Sleepy Joe road!” Mr Medvedev said on X.
