ISIS Commander in Gaza Eliminated: Israeli Military Reports.

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) killed Muhammad Abd al-Aziz Abu Zubaida, the most senior member of ISIS. Furthermore, he also heads the Palestine District of ISIS, the IDF said Friday.

The IDF posted a message on its official X Twitter on Friday to avoid misinformation by some mischief-makers. Nevertheless, it disclosed how the senior terrorist commander died.

How Abd al-Aziz Abu Zubaida was Neutralised

The text stated without any form of ambiguity how they eliminated him. It states the IDF eliminated Muhammad Abd al-Aziz Abu Zubaida, the leader of the ISIS terrorist group’s Palestine District. Furthermore, the district where they killed him lies under the Bureij region.

As the most senior ISIS official in Gaza, Abu Zubaida set policy, organised and supervised the terrorist group’s operations. Additionally, his supervisory role covers Gaza, Judea, Samaria, and the Sinai Peninsula. Furthermore, his job description also involves bringing money and war gear into Gaza.

Hamas’ General Security Leader Neutralised

Just two days ago, when much detail was not available, it was revealed that the IDF killed Mahmoud al-Aswad. He was the leader of Hamas’ General Security Apparatus for the West Gaza region.

The IDF stated in a post on its official X feed that al-Aswad played a vital role. He served as a major intelligence source for Hamas operations in the area, aside from links with other terrorist groups.

The military also disclosed that as part of continuous attempts to neutralise Hamas fighters and destroy its operational capabilities. For this reason, Israeli forces struck terror infrastructure installations both underground and above in Khan Yunis and Gaza City.

Days back, Israeli aircraft struck al-Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza on Monday, killing at least 20 persons, including five journalists.

The Guardian reports on Reuters cameraman Hussam al-Masri, Associated Press freelancer Mariam Abu Dagga, and Al Jazeera’s Mohammed Salam. Additionally, NBC employee Moaz Abu Taha died. Hatem Khaled, a photographer with Reuters, also suffered grave injuries.

Al-Ghad TV aired footage showing journalists and civil defence personnel in bright orange vests racing to rescue their colleague. Obviously, it was the body of al-Masri’s they went to retrieve while gunfire targeted them. The rescuers raised their hands for safety in their last seconds before the attack struck.
